Bio Screening Overview

A biometric screening is an important component of a comprehensive health and wellness program. For employers, biometric screenings provide important baseline data to shape the direction of their corporation wellness program. For employees, these screenings provide information on current and potential medical issues. When combined with a Health Risk Assessment, employees have reliable information about their risk for chronic preventable diseases such as diabetes, heart disease/stroke, and hypertension, and can identify a path for disease prevention and improved health.

Bioscreening Overview

Wellness Assessment Team offers a large selection of health screening options to meet the needs of all employees. We encourage our clients to select the options that are most appropriate for their employee and organizational screenings goals. We take the worry out of planning your screening events by providing you with communication materials, appointment schedule with reminders for your employees, and informative health education materials.
Biometric tests can be performed either with a fingersitck or venipunture. Fingerstick screenings are more often conducted at the worksite because employees do not necessarily have to fast, results are faster to complete, and immediately provided.  The results allow for a powerful teaching moment when combined with the expertise provided by our worksite Health Educators.
Wellness Assessment Teams’ trained and certified screeners are available to administer a variety of objective, worksite health screens in a confidential and professional manner.
